the problem is that you are supposed to catch it after it fainted. You left and she did wait about 30-40 minutes before capturing it... you still get a level up for your Minun and 5 more hp but you don't get the Pichu, sorry
You can reserve a pokemon battle if you haven't defeated it yet, but it fainted so you could've caught it but didn't.
